Every class is accompanied by a mentor or coach to help students navigate the program and assist with tasks related to washable feet insoles or social apps; Students are given ample opportunity to try out their ideas using lean business practices.

The students will be taught how to develop their ideas as they progress through the course. It includes market research, idea and customer research, prototyping, and pitching. This process helps develop cooperation and problem-solving skills in addition to teaching students how quickly they can change to new circumstances.

At the end of every year, each team participates in the INCubatoredu National Pitch to compete to raise seed money for their startup companies. This opportunity provides teams with invaluable networking opportunities with investors and helpful advice from top business executives This event is known for the shark tank-style pitching sessions.
